Business Growth Through Improved Product Development
Product Development Project Rescue
We are not currently accepting new clients.
Sometimes it is not a strategic capability issue that is foremost, it's an important project or initiative that is taking too long, costing too much or simply losing momentum. This can be fairly urgent. Typically, the gating challenges can be assessed quickly by leveraging a small, relevant portion of our WhoWhatHow™ methodology. Once that is complete, strategies for mitigating the challenges or retooling the team or processes can be developed.
Many times, there is a combination of factors which need to be addressed. Common findings include a lack of skilled project management, poor teamwork at the cross-disciplinary level, inadequate staffing in key areas, bureaucratic or unclear decision making, and process steps which are either lacking or suffocating.
If you have a project that seems to have gone off the rails, being proactive by bringing in a little help early while there are good management options still on the table makes a lot of sense. Of course if it's a crisis, we will work hard to help ensure the best potential outcome that is still available.
"Bob
Becker demonstrated a great ability to understand and distill a complex
set of changing organizational, process, technology and customer
dynamics into excellent project management advice and technical
leadership guidance when we sought his help to get an important program
back on track."
